When I saw these on their website I kinda squealed. Red lipstick is my weakness, add the amazing packaging and I'm sold! So of course I popped down to boots and there they were, sold out. But my hunt didn't finish there. Anyway I ended up being able to get two, and probably the ones I would have gone for. Blake's Red and Eva's Red.
When I was swatching them I knew I'd love Blake's. It's a typical slightly cool toned true red, and to be honest very similar to about 3 other red lipsticks I own. (Whoops?) Then Eva's red leans more towards a terracotta warm toned red. So something kind of different to my other reds. And I absolutely love this one. I didn't expect to but I really do!

They are more of a satin finish than a straight up matte so they don't dry out your lips but still have good staying power. And they are really pigmented, as are most of L'Oreal's lipsticks, so these certainly didn't let me down.

Will I go back and pick up the others?
Probably not. I love these, and the packaging but I don't need anymore red lipsticks and they're not anything special. So however much I love these, I'm not going to go back and get the others. Red lipsticks aren't something I use a lot so however much I love them, I really don't need anymore!
But if you're on the market for a new red lipstick definitely check these out! At the moment they're £6.99 on boots, which for L'Oreal is a really good price so I definitely recommend these!
